4-Year Curriculum

Corban University is providing a four-year curriculum to our students resulting in a Bachelor of Science degree in liberal arts emphasizing Psychology, Social Services and Leadership. The students are being taught by Corban professors in a live classroom setting (not on-line) at the Oregon State Correctional Institution (OSCI) in Salem. They will receive the same degree that Corban students receive in the free world.

Men from all prisons in Oregon will be eligible to apply. Successful applicants will be transferred from their prison to OSCI. There will be three basic criteria; 1), each man will need to have at least 8 years left on his sentence at the time of application, 2), a high school degree or GED and 3), a clean disciplinary record for one year prior to application. The reason for the 8-year requirement is that each graduate will be required to give back four years to fellow adults in custody after receiving his degree.
