Spiritual Mentor Impact Stories from Across the Country:
Alexander Prison, NC
Through compelling storytelling, five men step into a maximum-security prison and open their journals. Page after page reveals hundreds of names and prayer requests. The prison administration reports a double-digit decrease in violence, while Field Ministers now have lines of inmates waiting to speak with them. This is a story of hope, prayer, and transformation within prison walls.
Angola Prison, LA
Over the years, Angola Prison has achieved remarkably low recidivism rates of 11-14%. Once known as the “bloodiest prison” in the U.S., it has now become one of the most rehabilitative, thanks to the transformative power of the Holy Spirit. Prisons across the state are requesting more Field Ministers, as over 200 pastors have been trained, with hundreds more being discipled into the love of Jesus. Angola’s journey from violence to spiritual renewal is a powerful testament to faith-based rehabilitation.
OSCI, OR
What started as a creative, wayward idea has begun to take shape as graduates dream about what God has planned for Oregon. Ministry is unfolding in powerful ways—Experiencing God studies are being held in the prison garden, while others have taken on roles as orderlies in the Disciplinary Segregation Unit, serving as prayer warriors and ambassadors of transformation. This evolving ministry is bringing hope and spiritual renewal to adults in custody, showcasing God’s work in unexpected places.
