Two weeks ago, Pastor Clifford and I hosted one-on-one conversations with each of the 18 graduates. Our goal was to take the time and explore the following questions:

  1. As a postgraduate field minister acting as a Peer Mentor focused on ministry, service, and spiritual growth (Colossians 1:28), how do you envision this role for yourself now? In what capacity?
  2. What are your goals, and how do they fit into your weekly schedule?
  3. As we aim for optimal personal success at another prison by January 2025, who would you choose to be on your team?

After praying individually and reflecting on their responses, Pastor Clifford and I discussed them together this week.

We have another meeting with OSCI and Corban on Monday, August 5th. Please join us in praying for this meeting.

I’m reminded of Deuteronomy 30:14-16 (NKJV): “But the word is very near you, in your mouth and in your heart, that you may do it. See, I have set before you today life and good, death and evil, in that I command you today to love the Lord your God, to walk in His ways, and to keep His commandments, His statutes, and His judgments, that you may live and multiply; and the Lord your God will bless you in the land which you go to possess.”

This passage highlights key affirming factors that lead to “that you may live and multiply.”

The vision has always been to see redeemed mature believers inside prison multiply the Gospel.

The historic first graduation (click here to watch) offers a moment to pause, pursue, and pray for clarity in following God’s will for these men.

Many of you are involved in prayer groups, small groups, or community groups.

As we intentionally pray together, would you consider sharing the graduation video on your social media or showing it to your group?

Your prayers are an encouragement, thank you,
