Every once in a while I get a note from a supporter of PiFO, or a friend or a family member that fills my tank for weeks. I would like to share a recent one.
This is the shortest email that I have ever written to supporters of PiFO, but this message from a grateful mother is immeasurable. Here it is:
“I just wanted to let you know that I have seen and heard my son turn into such a positive person. I would hardly know that he is in prison. Thank you so much for the opportunity Paid in Full Oregon gave him to become a better person, to give him an education, and to bring him closer to the Lord. I can never express to you how all this is affecting his family outside of prison. Thank you and God bless everyone involved in this program.”
This is how your prayers and support are affecting the families of our students on the outside. Please continue to pray not only for our students but also for their families. God is changing lives…inside and outside the prison system.
