PiFO began its campaign for 25 laptops on June 15 to supply to each student in our third cohort with a laptop. Classes begin this fall for all three of our cohorts.
By July 1, when I sent out the second email for the computer campaign, we had received donations and pledges for 16 laptops.
By the end of the day on July 1, we had received additional donations and pledges for 14 more! 30 computers in 16 days! God’s fingerprints are all over this PiFO/Corban project in the Oregon State Correctional Institution.
Ephesians (MSG) 3:20 says … “God can do anything, you know—far more than you could ever imagine or guess or request in your wildest dreams!” God’s overabundance has been evidenced through you.
One of the greatest enemies of a person in prison is a lack of hope. Your support in prayers and donations has given our students HOPE. Whenever I visit them in prison, they always express their gratitude to you for giving them hope.
PiFO will set aside $3500 (the cost of 5 computers) for next year’s computer campaign. Thank you so very much, our faithful supporters!
