Today is Christmas Eve, a time of joyous celebration of Christ’s birth. As you celebrate, will you please join me in praying this prayer for our 25 students?

“Lord Jesus, I thank you that you have opened the door for Paid in Full Oregon (PiFO) and Corban University (CU) to offer a biblically-based education program to give students hope as they study and prepare for service. I thank you that you have led each one of these men to participate in this program, and I pray that each one would grow in their walk with you.

I pray that they would be able to make meaningful connections with their immediate families – wives, children, and mothers and fathers and their extended families. May they reconcile relationships that are strained or broken as they forgive others and experience the forgiveness of others toward them.

I pray that the men would learn how to encourage one another in godly friendship as they study your word. May they remain strong, staying away from any negative associations that would lead them astray. I pray that Dr. Bhatia will have wisdom and strength as he teaches, counsels, and mentors these students.

And finally, I pray that the relationship that PiFO and CU has with the State of Oregon Department of Corrections would be blessed with favor and continued cooperation, so that this program will make an impact on the entire prison system in Oregon.

In Jesus’s mighty name, Amen!”

Thank you again for your generosity and love, which has made this program possible. Have a wonderful Christmas!
