Have you ever had any questions about PiFO? For example—when were we founded? Are we a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization? What is our goal? Who do we partner with? How many students are in our first cohort? What are the qualifications for students? Is there a faith requirement? All are important and meaningful questions and we have answers for you!
You will find the answers to these questions, and more, at our website on our new page, FAQs! Please visit the FAQs’ page and let us know what you think and if you have any other questions.
On a personal note, I have been asked by Burl Cain, the new Commissioner for the Mississippi Department of Corrections to help with a project at Parchman Prison located in the Mississippi delta region. I will be in Parchman working on the project from June 29 through July 2. Your prayers will be appreciated!
Finally, please keep our current students in prayer. They have been in isolation and have had no visitors since the lockdown began in March. And please pray for our new cohort. The final date for the application process is in the first week of July. Men throughout the entire Oregon prison system who meet the basic requirements will be eligible to apply. Last year we had over 200 men who were interested. This year could be even more!
