If you don’t start on what God has called you to do now, no matter how long and hard the road may be, you will never experience the joy of seeing what God can do through your life.
Six years ago this month, I visited Angola Prison in Louisiana and was introduced to the idea of implanting a seminary in prison. I saw first hand the incredible life transformation that occurred in the lives of prisoners impacted through this program. I witnessed how America’s bloodiest and most violent prison had been transformed into one of America’s safest prisons. Only God could do that!
Last week, as classes started here, I was back at Angola Prison talking with representatives from Oklahoma and the Grand Caymans to help them launch similar programs in their prison systems. What God started here in Oregon, will now have a ripple effect that could stretch around the world!
God is using you to do it, through your generosity. And I am sure you’ll want to hear more about this incredible journey of faith at our upcoming banquet on November 9.
