The Paid in Full Oregon fall banquet happened on Saturday night, November 9. It was a great blessing to me, and I hope it was to all of the attendees as well. I felt God’s presence in a powerful way as Rey Reynolds, a Vancouver police officer inspired us in song, as Dr. Amit Bhatia, director of the Corban extension in OSCI, shared what is happening with the men in class on a daily basis, and as Burl Cain, former warden at Angola Prison in Louisiana, challenged us to bring God’s word to those in prison so they can experience the complete transformation that God wants to accomplish in their lives.

And then we heard from Brad (via video who is one of our students) and his wife Angie, who has stayed with him through thick and thin, raising their girls while Brad is in prison. They never cease to pray for his safety while he is incarcerated, and that God would use him in the lives of fellow prisoners. It is a situation none of us would want, but there is hope because of God’s promise that “in all things God works for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose.” (Romans 8:28) If you were unable to attend our banquet, please go to our website at paidinfulloregon.org and click on “Brad’s testimony.” You will be blessed!

You can still be a part of the mission of Paid in Full Oregon, through your generosity. Without you – giving, praying, believing, and hoping with us-none of this could happen. God raised a total of approximately $160,000 on Saturday night which includes the costs of the banquet. And the funding for laptop computers for each of our students has been met!

But there is still a need for approximately $43,000 more to meet our annual goal of $203,000 to completely fund all 25 men in the program. If you would like to partner with us, your gift will be used to give men like Brad the opportunity to use their years in prison to bring God’s hope, forgiveness, comfort and healing to others. Please continue to pray for Paid in Full Oregon as we move forward and see the lives of our students transformed. And may God richly bless you!
